Sweatshirts

Sweatshirts are a high-visibility addition to your tour merchandise range. As a default, we use 'Fruit of the Loom' blanks. They are robust and take the branding well. They are available in a vast array of colours, and can be printed using many different They have an ethical policy for their workers, which can be viewed on their website. The shirts we use as standard are 'Raglan' shirts, however we can use any shirt, subject to pricing. Contact us for the options available.


The shirts can be printed on with a few different techniques: Vinyl text, Overlay printing and White-Toner transfer printing.

Vinyl text is very striking and very robust. There are a number of different types of vinyl, from flat (flex), 'slightly raised' velvet like vinyl (flock), rubberised raised vinyl (brick) or sparkle flock (flock vinyl with flecks of glitter). This usually works best with one or 2 colours as each one has to be applied seperately.

Overlay printing allows full colour images to be applied to the shirts, however it usually works best on light coloured shirts. If a dark coloured shirt is used, the application method may leave a light shadow on the blank areas behind the image. Also, dark shirts may ask the lighter colours, so they are not as vivid as migt be desired.

White-Toner printing allows full colour images to be applied to any coloured shirt. This is because the image has a white base behind the image, making the colours stand out. This is also the most expensive printing technique.

Any sweatshirt that has been printed on is machine washable, as long as it is done correctly; Washing at 40°C or lower, and inside out. No tumble drying.
